Work Order Module (WOM)
The QuickStock Work Order Module allows manufacturers to truly
achieve maximum manufacturing efficiency. The Work Order Module
allows the user to create Work Orders for assembly items. Work Orders are created in QuickStock where a Trial Build is calculated.
The Trial Build will allow you to instantaneously determine if you
have enough component items to build your required amount. The system
then reserves the stock for the Work Order and the user utilizes
a wireless barcode scanner to perform a directed pick of the Work
Order components to a designated Work In Process area. Once assembly
is complete, the user uses the wireless barcode scanner to confirm
the manufactured quantity and to put-away any left over components.
You accounting systems inventory is immediately updated in real
time to reflect the newly assembled items and the components used. Sharing Data with your accounting system Assembly items are created and maintained in your accounting system
and are automatically synchronized into the QuickStock Work Order Module. Upon completion of a Work Order, the QuickStock Work Order Module automatically increments the Accounting Systems inventory
of the assembly item and decrements the inventory of the component
items (including scrap materials). The QuickStock Work Order Module has the ability to be configured
to post inventory transactions to your specific G/L accounts. Main Benefits
- Improve the accuracy and efficiency of your assembly operation
by tracking inventory in real time.
- You will have instant visibility as to where your Work Orders
are in the assembly process.
- You will be able to track manufacturing efficiency and build
performance metrics.
